Hey Reader, If you’re opening this feeling tired, behind, or unsure of what you even want 2026 to look like, I want you to hear this first: You don’t need a plan before January. I know I talk about planning a lot but you don't have to have one. You need what we are going to talk about in this email. You don’t need a word. Right now, the most productive thing you can do is pause. December has a way of draining us in all areas; emotionally, mentally, and physically. By the time today arrives, December 31, many of us want change, but we don’t have the energy to decide what that change should be. That is normal. And you are not alone in this. That’s human. So instead of choosing a theme or setting intentions today, I want to offer you something else. One simple question — no planner requiredBefore the calendar turns, ask yourself this: What do I not want to carry into the new year? That’s it. Maybe it’s rushing. Just listen to your answer. Because here’s the truth: January doesn’t need you to be energized. In the coming weeks, we’ll gently turn what you want less of into a direction that actually supports you. This will fit your real life, your real schedule, and your real energy. Doing it this way will allow you to stay with it as the year progresses. For now, let yourself pause and reflect. We’ll build what comes next at your own pace. Be you, be focused, be well. Keep flourishing, |

Hey Reader, I almost didn’t go on a walk with my family the other day. It didn’t feel important enough. I had other things I could have been doing at that time. And honestly? It felt easier to just skip it. Everyone else could go and I could get some things done at home. I was still going to be doing something; just not taking a walk. The truth is this: Most midlife moms don’t struggle with motivation. They struggle with decision fatigue. Should I do this activity instead of that one? How long...
Hey Reader, Welcome to Quarter 2! It is very hard to believe we are entering the second quarter of 2026. It is April. There’s something about turning the page into a new quarter that can either excite you or make you feel anxious. Which side are you on? This month is a chance to keep going with intention. Last month for me wasn’t about doing everything perfectly. It was about being present enough to notice the moments that actually matter. I had quite a few of those with everything that went...
Hey Reader, The newsletter is a little behind this week. Well, I am going to blame it on the snow. If focus feels harder for you lately, I want you to hear this clearly: It doesn’t mean you’re lazy. And it doesn’t mean what you’re working toward won’t ever work. If you are like me and in midlife, you are carrying a lot. When we sit down to focus now, our minds won't focus on only one task. They spin through everything else: Our kids. Our spouse. Our parents. Our siblings. The errands. The bills.The...
